Sky "full of birds" complains irritated bird

An angry bird has complained to national newspapers after discovering that there are other birds in the sky. “it wasn’t like this in my day” moaned the bird, who did not wish to be named “but these days, my family and I flap off out of our tree, and what do we find, but loads of these awful ‘bird’ creatures everywhere! It’s terrible.”

The bird had recently flown south for the summer, to get away from his own neighbourhood – and who could blame him!?

“We’d stay at home, but to be honest, it’s even worse there.” He said.



Avoiding looking at his family, the bird continued: “We just want to go somewhere where we don’t see any birds, you know? Is that so unreasonable?”

“Next time, we’re going to try and avoid the sky altogether, and fly directly to the beach, where we can bury our heads in the sand to avoid seeing the hypocrisy.”

When asked if by our reporter if he understood the concept of “irony”, the bird replied “Ah cannae understand your accent”
